Dr. Evelyn Shaw was a distinguished scientist long before she was a Hyperspace Cowgirl. Curator at the Museum of Natural History; Professor at Rutgers, Columbia, and Stanford; researcher at the Marine Biological Laboratory and Oceanographic Institute at Woods Hole; National Science Foundation and Guggenheim Fellow; successful author of kids science books - she's done it all. Now she wanted a fresh challenge - how about race-walking? Teamed with her daughter (Hyperspace Cowgirls President and Head Cowgirl Susan Shaw) she set an amazing age-adjusted time in the Advil Mini-Marathon. Could founding a multimedia company be any harder than this?
	Not when you're the matriarch of three generations of women on-line. "I love exchanging e-mail with my 7-year-old granddaughter Chloe," says Evelyn. "You'd be amazed by what a promising young scientist she's turning out to be. And my 15-year-old granddaughter Jenny is a major collaborator with Susan and me on our product designs - some businesswoman!" What else would you expect from Evelyn's offspring?
