| Taking her cue from Grandma Evelyn and Aunt Susan, Jennifer Shaw completes the three generations of Cowgirls. And you can be sure, there's no shortage of spunk, style, and smarts in this threesome. Jenny's work at Hyperspace Cowgirls has earned her such epithets as “Prodigy of the Pasture” and “Cowgirl Wonder.” She's racked up a full lineup of Hypertasks, everything from brainstorming on new products to final testing. Having explored Director and Shockwave, tuned up her HTML skills, worked on Photoshop, and more, she's ready for just about any new media challenge. | |

Even before working at HC, Jenny corresponded via e-mail as she reviewed products and came up with new ideas for games. Her teen perspective keeps us true blue...or these days, maybe it's lime green.
Back in San Francisco, Jennifer is a junior at Lowell High School and a member of the Pacific Rowing Club. This past May, her boat took bronze in the SWJRA Rowing Championships...that deserves a real downhome “YEE-HAW!.” Aside from gliding across the glassy water in a crew boat or tackling schoolwork, Jennifer takes classes at the American Conservatory Theater, attends jazz dance lessons, and works at a restaurant on the weekends naturally keeping par with her equally active aunt and grandma. This summer, before coming to Hyperspace Cowgirls, Jennifer went on a bike trip that traveled through Holland, Belgium, and France. “Every summer I would like to travel and explore different parts of the world. I want to learn more about other cultures first hand and know the world better.” Although she enjoys backpacking in Yosemite, sailing, waterskiing, and the general outdoors (what cowgirl wouldn't?), Jenny is very much a city girl at heart. San Francisco's her home during the school year, but in the off-season you can find her in the heart of NYC, touring the sites or working her magic at the HC studios. “The energy, the convenience, and the constant activity in the city are partially what keep me going during the year....when I surf the net, I get tons of information on what's going on in the city, and then go have fun! I enjoy multimedia, new technology, and interactive products, but the best part is when I can go out into the real world and use what I've learned.” You might just say it's “all in the family,” but with Jenny as a part of this powerhouse trio, watch out when the Cowgirls come to town. | |
